Re: Eagle 225 wheels
Looks good...I'm a fan of a little more meat because of road conditions....how are they where you live? It at least will be a good test on how tough the rims are

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
I got the DJM 5" flip kit, and the rear wheels on tonight. My axle to frame clearance is about 2 inches so I'm not going to notch it yet. After I do the 5" front drop tomorrow I'll see if she sits level and go from there. I'm also thinking about some spacers to push the wheels out a little closer to the fenders. I have a brand new set of lowering shackles in case I decide to go lower.

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
Here's the 5/5 drop. I'm getting the truck aligned tomorrow. It looks like the front is higher, I guess I have to give the front springs time to settle.

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
Thanks guys, the truck in getting a front end alignment right now. More pics when I get her home. The wheels are nice for the money, and the belltech nitrodrop2 shocks ride good. Nothing rubs.

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
Do people still cruise 42nd street? I lived in Midland from 1981 to 1989 and we used to go to Odessa and cruise.

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
i guess, mostly high school kids. the adult racers go to the tracks on the weekends. we use to have a few good underground race spots on old county roads outside of town, but i havent been in years. the craziest cruise spot in Odessa was Clements street on the south side, but the cops are real bad and they shut it down early.

Re: Eagle 225 wheels
Man that's sweet!!! May I ask what backspacing you have front and rear? Encounter any scrubbing?
Thanks |
