if youre using the stock rims black wall only,,, if there are other rims going on then if they are black white letter if not just black wall

I have BFG Commercial tires (23585R16) on my 83 C20 - black wall. 3/4tons need load range D (mostly E is what you find now), so they cost more $$ to begin with. I find the paint of white letters wears off after a while, especially if you get some curb rash. Plus, if you have white letter tires you must put them on Cragar SS mags

Just put white letters on 06 Express Van silver steel 8 lug non spoke wheels with the center cap and trim rings on my 75 C20 longbed. Looks good to me. I agree with the concept of "period correct". I was around in the mid 70s, and white letter tires were the only "cool" way to go when those trucks were new.
