OK I finaly got to work a little on my pickem up, got the c notches welded and bolted in I got my rear flip kit installed gonna put the rear back under the frame and see how much it lowered it I'm hopping for 6-7"

ok got the rearend flipped and back under the truck, set the bed on it to see, it dropped it about 7" now on to the front

ok got a little more work done this is the 84 heavy half cross member, I only have to drill out 3 holes on each side all the rest line up perfect

Hey i'm planning on flipping my rearend on my 66 GMC. Have any pictures of the rear with the bed off? Also what did you end up having to buy to flip the rearend?

I found these U shaped peices on ebay they fit under the perches of the rearend no welding. I had to use different U bolts and the peices that where on the 84 doner truck where the U bolts bolt to I dont know what ya call them, I used cpp frame notches that bolt in, I bolted and welded them if I wanna go lower I can do a lowering shackle for another inch, or blocks, but I pleased with the results. I will get a couple pics for ya

Well finally got a break from the heat started on the 84 crossmember and frontend. I got the pass side mioked up so far went together pretty easy

Well change of plans. Im not going with the SB350 and 700r setup. Im going with a 5.3ls fuel inj. with the 4l60e trans
