Just to throw this out there in case someone doesn't know this info, the 230/250 6's use the same mm tower as the sbc. The large 6 (292) uses a different pass side from what I recall.

I used the original brackets and mounts.
If I remember correctly, the newer mounts got in the way of the down dump ramshorn exhaust manifold. Posted via Mobile Device

I think I may just go with the tublar towers with clam shell motor mounts. I know that will bolt into the top of frame. I may need to drill x member. I also heard the tublar ones move engine forward a bit to help the hei dist clear the firewall. Drawback, $$$$$ money tight around here!
