Re: 67/72junkie
I would suggest at this point, since the contact is nill.. that you guys whom have not, open cases with paypal. If you paid via us mail you would have to contact local authorities for guidance.

Still nothing. Not even a half-baked excuse.

Re: 67/72junkie
Not trying to stir the mud, but I've had a few deals set up with him and he would fade in and out of contact. Never sent him any money and finally figured that it wasn't worth the time and agravation. Though he seemed like a good guy when he was on top of it. Best of luck to you guys.

Re: 67/72junkie
I am a bit naive I guess, because I like to think of the group of guys on this board like a bunch of buddies at Cheers or something. Much different than buying of fleabay or craigscrap because we all help each other when we can. It's hard for me to believe someone would purposely screw a "friend" like this. It's lower than whale ****.
What goes around, comes around.

Re: 67/72junkie
I have business with Donald before with no problems. But I purchased a set of door panels on 6-13 and sent pay pal same day. Have not recieved no product and no response from them. I think that no matter what has happened you can at least send some type of message in this day and age of communications. So at this point I have to start a claim with pay pal. So no I don't think he is a stand up guy.

Did you file a paypal claim? If so, where are you at with that?

Re: 67/72junkie
I'm SOL on that - I gave him too much time. 45 days is the cut-off.
Let that be a lesson to others - keep a short leash. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 67/72junkie
Rochlow, let me know if I can if the police dept thinks they can do anything. I am also past the 45 day cutoff. Or maybe all of us that have been taken by him can file a claim. Thanks Stan

Re: 67/72junkie
It might be useful to convey to police the number of people he scammed and how much they are out.
$385.00 for me.

Re: 67/72junkie
I haven't contacted the police cause I figure they have better things to do than worry about my $88 dollars. I guess as my grandpa use to say.. "That's my entrance fee into heaven"...

Re: 67/72junkie
What you supposed to get for your $88? Please post before the auction and I'll ship it to you if I have it! Thanks, Sharpie

Re: 67/72junkie
Sharpie, is the man!!! I can't say it enough.. If the board ever does a member of the month/year.. You get my vote.
He was suppose to refurb center consoles for most of us. My deal was I sent him the foam and frame for some seat bottoms and it would be put as down payment for a console. |
