Finally got around to painting my tailgate and put it back on the truck. Don't look half bad if your ten feet away

I took the top off for the first time last week and
got some red paint on the truck too
did a second coat thursday waited forever to dry
did a few more details and touchups fri
cleaned out some of the garage sat and sun
monday n tuesday went out to the 89 and 88 burbs for parts
tuesday bout 3pm was packin up and walked the 200 feet out to the lane from the tall grass.
I guess i either stepped on/near a wasp nest only to have them mildly swarm me.....bites on my hands,arms,back of legs,top of head....coulda been worse

had to back in to get the truck out.and saw the nest

then i saw the shine reflection of chrome from the field down the road........another day

Went to the Pick-a-Part junkyard and picked up a new set of side mirrors. Proceeded to silently cuss as my son dropped one, breaking the glass! He carried the tool box after that.
Had a friend give me a set of 2 1/4 Flowmaster 40's. They look brand new!
Celebrated my 23rd wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Went to High Rock Lake and enjoyed a cook out with my brother and sister-in-law. Lots of jet ski riding and boating.
Went to Rich Park in Mocksville for the 4th of July Fireworks! Dodged raindrops for most of the evening. It cleared up just in time for the show
