Yes those mounts on the wheel wells are to assist the hood. When I built them Porterbuilt had not had his yet. I will try to post more pictures this weekend sometime.

The frame behind the front tires is at 3.5 inches off the ground.

The blazer took two years to build. That included fab, powder coat, assembly, paint,and interior.
