Contrary to popular belief, you really do need a VSS for the engine to run right. It will run with out it, but not as well as it should, you can get stalling problems especially when coming to a stop quickly.
Anyway, here are the pics of the power brake fitting.

I know you need a VSS, I was saying it doesn't matter if it's, for example, 4000 pulse VSS or 8000 pulse VSS, since its a non electronic trans. It doesn't matter where the speed sensor is located or the number of pulses, just so PCM knows vehicle is in motion. Sorry i wasn't very clear on my statement above.
