Re: Lets See Your Diehard Daily Drivers!

1990 Volvo 960 3.0L 4 speed aut, sedan closing to 500.000miles Never left me stranded or not started for the almost 2 year i have owned it. I drove it for work every when i worked 100miles away and back all week for 1½ year. (now i work a mile away frome home) but i drove close to 100.000miles in that yearnhalf. coast me a headgasket, 2 inner tierods, 2 set of brake pads and transmission mount. so that pretty good ( change oil every 5000miles and tranny get flushed every 15000miles and Cam belt at the same time. earlyer this year i jackknifed with a car trailer with it and it drove home. next week im going to fix the body damange and have it resparyed. My plan is too keep this old girl for next 10 years and pass the million mile mark in it. before i retrie it from dayli driving duty. I love my volvo.

Sweet sweet sweet truck! How's your gas mileage? But then again with a truck like that who cares about gas mileage!

Over 26 years and still going strong.

Drive it everyday (unless I'm driving a company car).

My '78 Silverado diesel was my daily until two months ago when I bought a TDI. She still runs like a top but the suspension is so worn out it is just not fun to drive anymore. Now I just drive her once or twice a week.

Re: Lets See Your Diehard Daily Drivers!

Here's my first truck, a 78 Silverado. I started driving it at 16 and I got hit head on when I was 18. It was totalled. Before it was mine, my dad bought it about 7 years before I started driving and added about 100K miles to what it already had.

Many months later I got this truck as the replacement. Still driving it to this day. Never owned more than one vehicle at any given time.

Of course I don't drive it daily with the drag radials on the back though.

I'm wanting another vehicle in addition to the truck however, simply because I need something to drive while doing serious work to the truck. Just too much of a burden for some projects if I need to have it back together and driving the next day. I will say that the Holley 750 double pumper is basically a large high performance funnel to pour gas into the motor at an alarming rate. Getting a bit expensive to drive these days.

Thank you!

Those are 325/50/15. The rear is lowered just enough to level it with the front, but the front end is at stock ride height as far as I know.
