Re: New member with 57 panel
You look like you are in good shape for the replacing the windows project, but here is the photo I mentioned. I can't recall the OP.

Re: New member with 57 panel
Thanks for the pic. Right off the bat one thing that looks different to me is that the vertical supports on my panel do not appear to have the recesses for the horizontal plank that is supposed to prevent cargo from possibly damaging the sheet metal. I wonder if those boards only came on the shorter panels, or if they did come on all of them why are they not on mine?

Re: New member with 57 panel
It appears they replaced those uprights when the added the windows. Your uprights look like they were either fabricated, or came fromthe school bus that donated the windows.

Re: New member with 57 panel
That was definitely a school bus in its first life .
You could keep the windows and put a wrap with you logo over them.

first commercial use was in making plywood hulls for PT boats, think twice about replacing the plywood, unless it's shot almost 10 ft long and 50 inches wide, try finding that at home depot i ''found'' a 22 ft beam when i was building my first house i backed up to the beam, opened the barn doors and slid it right up to the firewall i believe there was 5 ft sticking out past the bumber

Re: New member with 57 panel
Another thing I have a question about is the "gross vehicle weight". The tag in my drivers door jamb indicates 9600, but on this chart (assuming its correct), the highest gvw in the 3800 series is 8800, and thats on a dually. hmmm..........

Re: New member with 57 panel
I would trust the truck tag, may have been upgraded by RPO.

Re: New member with 57 panel
On the plywood issue from what I'm told is the flooring depended on where your truck was built and if the supplier delivered on time. They didn't slow the production line at all as they always had a plan "B" to keep things going as it all came down to PROFIT!
