You have half the '60-'66 board drooling, and the other half envious.

Nice find.

Re: Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you get REALLY lucky...

You can get a title thru the VT DMV for around $100 if it isn't stolen or have a lien on it. I'll try to find the link to the instructions and post it up. When I come across good deals that need a title I snatch them up and poof a month later I have a VT registration and I take it to the local DMV and two weeks later a clear Idaho title. They will look at you funny when you have your address on a VT registration but if it's clear it's clear.

Here it is-

I live in Maine and have a nice aluminum Featherlite trailer and cash if you decide to flip it. I don't need a title to register it in Maine either. Jus' sayin' Good luck with the truck!

My uncle is the original owner of a 1972 Monte Carlo, and it came from the factory with those exact same hubcaps. They are still on the car today.

What's confusing me is that I believe the Monte has 14" wheels, and I'm sure a Corvette (and that truck) have 15" wheels. I'm going over to his house this weekend to work on my truck, so I'll check it out...maybe my memory is just wrong and they are 15" hubcaps.

Re: Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you get REALLY lucky...

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Right now the truck is stored snugly in my garage waiting for some time to dig into it. I did disassemble the driver's door so I could get the slim-jim unstuck from the door and remove the door handle so I can open the door from the outside.
My g/f is going to be away for the weekend, so I suspect I will spend pretty much all of the weekend cleaning the truck and seeing if I can get it running.
