I appreciate the feedback and the compliments broey! I wish I could've got more detailed with the pics but there were several times when I got so caught up in the moment getting things installed that I forgot to take the pics. Lol.

Porterbuilt components are definitely top notch and worth the investment for any type of build. Fit and finish is amazing, and the customer service that you receive from Nate, Dave and the PB team are excellent.

Nice write up! I have basically the same PB parts on my ride. Definitely quality stuff. This thread will be a big help to those wanting to do this in the future. It's cool that you were able to slow down and take pics. I always mean to, but usually get caught up in the work and forget. Great job!

Thanks Cubber! I hope that it can be at least a source of reference to anyone who is thinking about it, just got it, or already starting their PB installs. I probably could've got more detailed shots but as you say, you get so excited and want to see it assembled and forget to snap pics. lol.

I'm just waiting on my bed wood to come back from refinishing so that I can reassemble everything with the bed off. Once thats done, the bed'll go back on and I will definitely be posting up before/after shots to give a good visual height reference for those curious to see how low it goes and how it sits.

I did use the cups for the rear. You don't have to but it will require you to drill your own holes in the frame for the air bag mounting bolt and the air line. From what I understand, you would only lose a bit of overall drop height if you ran the cup, which can be easily compensated for by using a 1-2 inch drop block.

Do you have any photo's of where you put your ride height adjustment points? I have the same set up and getting ready to install these, have read the instructions 3 times now and think I may be ready. I did call Accuair and they told me search for one of Delmo's post on the Black Bird build.

Any help would be great.

Hey Dan,

I'm assuming you're asking about the AccuAir ride height sensor placement? There are a myriad options for mounting these and it all depends on your creativity, function and the space/room you have to work with on your vehicle. Since the C10 has been done so many times and there are many ways people have done it, it's just a matter of going with whats worked or done before.
In my case, Dave from PB sent me a few sample pics of how they commonly set their sensors up and I loosely based it on that.

Again, there are so many options to mount these(which is the beauty and the downside of them, lol) but here are pics of my set up.

I'm keeping an open mind as to the efficiency and reliability of my placement just in case these weren't optimal and need to relocate or modify it, but so far, they seem to be working fine and keeping the sensors in their 'sweet spot' of its range.

Lol! You're telling me?!! I've been so restless and itching to finish her up and get her back on the road but when you have to wait on people who hold you parts hostage while they go on vacation for 3 weeks is most frustrating!!

Good news is that I will finally be getting the bed wood back tomorrow and will able to commence putting her back together! Don't worry, will post up the 'after' pics once I'm done.

Thank you Gipper! I'm running a pretty conservative set up. 4.5 in the front and 5.25 in the rear.

Any problems you can anticipate with tires rubbing, front or rear due to selected back spacing.

Nope. None at all. These are the same wheels I spaced out before I went with PorterBuilt and airbags so I had them spaced out conservatively so that it wouldn't rub from being overly in/offset.

I used to run a small spacer on the rear to make the wheel a bit more flush with the fender but with the bags, they will be tucked in just the right amount to be able to air out the bags and have the wheels tuck just inside the fender.

Pics of the completed truck will be up shortly! Just got my bed wood back and mounted up on the bed. Stay tuned!
