Re: Haulin' Ass aka El Culo
Thanks Hopped up!
I have tons of work, resealing ALL the windows and maybe painting but I really dont care how pretty she is, as long as she is dry, clean and warm/cool. oh and easy to pull too. I see a few of us have some real nice TT's, love the shasta and teardrop for sure!

Re: Haulin' Ass aka El Culo
I keep thinking about rescuing this one thats sat at my parents holiday home in France, a locally built Henon built in the Somme region from probably the late 1960's/ early 1970's. It needs a total rebuild inside and the business end of the towbar has been cut off. Not to mention dry rotted tyres and probably seized bearings. Kinda cool though.

Re: Haulin' Ass aka El Culo
Phil, thats a real treasure. Especially for its profile.
You could gut it and refit with modern caravan parts and interior. Look at www.tnttt.com Builds etc.

Re: Haulin' Ass aka El Culo
Lippyp,
The other nice thing is the axle is not centered on the body like most other Euro trailers. Putting the tongue on the long end would make it tow great but limit it to larger Euro cars with the proper hitch or in this case your truck. This trailer will pull well at speeds way over the 45 m.p.h. (72 k.p.h.) towing speed limit in G.B. It would most likely pull great at 100 m.p.h. ( 160 k.p.h. ). Can you say Autobuhn ? But right lane only please, you don't want to hold up those pesky 200 m.p.h. ( 322 k.p.h. ) drivers.

Re: Haulin' Ass aka El Culo
Thanks guys, I have to say it's been the funnest pair of vehicles I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The polishing sucks, but people don't tend to tailgate me when I'm driving away from the sun.
