Mitch, not real sure I was suprised at the difference in cost as well. They usually are very similar on item prices. I checked a couple of Advance stores same pricing.

Actually I ran both to the battery. Reason for this was that if it ever overheats I can have it still running after I shut the engine done. After a hot trip the fans still run for a bit after the truck is of but soon quit after reaches cut off temp.

Also when using the fan switch install with dual fans make sure to add a inline fuse like the one thats installed already. This will keep you from burning up your 2nd fan.

Brandon,

does the wiring harness for your fans come with relays, or are you going straight to the battery?

I actually found the Imperial adjustable thermostats at a local GI Joe's which is a NW regional sports & auto store here for $19.95 each. They also carry their fans and transmission coolers. The 14" fans there cost $74.95 each.

yeah....Mike it comes with relays built in. All ready for a second fan....the funny thing is ....like B said. They have the wires and all for the 2nd fan but not the inline fuse on the second set of wires lol. I guess they dont plan on most people running 2 fans. But that is an important step to remember Brandon...I forgot to tell you that but you figgggerd it out.

Actually it was but if someone else wanted to buy it without a discount like you have that's the price that would have to pay.
