I'd crank it over by hand to see if the 292, RPO L25, spins.
Drain the fuel tank & add a gallon of fuel.
Rebuild the carb and replace the rubber sections of fuel line.
Parking brake working and does it have brake pedal pressure?
Fire extinguisher in hand, try to fire it up.

Wow aerotruk that's amazing all of the information you have. I really appreciate it. I filled up the 31" all terrains with 33 psi from the 12 they were all at and boy was it easier to turn!
I also checked the rear end and it is indeed a 12 bolt posi!!! I pulled each sparkplug also and from front to back the 4th plug back had some corrosion on it not much. All others looked fine. The oil looks like oil, not milky at all. The breather tube from the valve cover seems to have some milky residue however. So, kinda unsure if I should start it or tear it apart. The engine is not frozen either as I crank it by hand

Is there water in the radiator? I say see if it will fire up. If the 4th plug back was really clean the I would say maybe that is where the gasket blew. Hot water will steam clean the plugs and pistons clean. Hopefully there isn't any rust.

The coolant level is maybe an inch from the top if that. I'm thinking of starting it up and just observe what's happening

Nice back yard find. I would pull the oil drain plug and see if water/antifreeze comes out before oil. Water/antifreeze will be at the bottom of the pan if it has been sitting for some time. You may also want to pull the valve cover off and check out how rusty the valve train is if you suspect water/antifreeze in the oil.

Wheels would have been painted Red.

5000GVW would have been ordered with 7-17.5/6PR tires and 2000-lb Springs RPO R80.
RPO for tires could change depending on which tire manufacturer was specified.

I am considering it myself. I have been wanting to do the show for sometime now.

An inspection is a good thing and then You should probably change the oil anyway before you run it. Try a compression check also.

Your A/C unit could have been installed at the dealership. While GM had recommended suppliers of Accessories, the dealerships were not discouraged to use outside vendors. There's no brand name anywhere on the unit?

It was either a Stepside or Fleetside when ordered.
Canadian Vin numbers has 4 numbers following the C and they would state whether the build had a Stepside 04 or Fleetside 34.
An American Vin would only state that the truck was ordered with a box, thus the number 4 as the third digit.
A Cab and Chassis had 3 as the third digit
A Stake Body had a 9 as the third digit.

Well I sprayed some starter fluid and it fire and idled immediately. The headlights tail lights and wipers also worked. I check the oil after it ran for a minute or two and it was slightly milky

Next step will be to pull the head and inspect further. I would really like to drop the suspension as its sitting kind of high but dont think the 31" all terrains will clear the front fenders when turning if I cut 1.5 coils
