kinda what I thought, talked with the guys at FAST about a similar set up while I was at SEMA. They said the same thing, would need their module for the TB EFI set up and then another of their modules to control timing/spark, but they at least "talk" to one another and are programmable/tune able together.

I've read as much as I could find on the Fitech system, and it sure looks like a lot of bang for the buck. For what its worth, Holley is coming out with a $999 solution in the spring as well:

That Holley Sniper Kit looks very similar to FiTech. Holley's programmer screen display looks better. I would have preffered a trusted brand like Holley. March is just around the corner..Oh well, I'm waiting on a bulkhed fitting and I ready to go.

I've been watching FiTech reviews as well and reading whatever I can find about them, haven't seen a negative review yet. Their customer support gets a lot of praise. Nice to see Holley coming out with a competitively priced model, maybe MSD will follow.

I wonder if they will offer just the ecm with a harness in the future similar to the ez-efi retro-fit kits for people that already have multiport intakes. I have a mercruiser efi tunnel ram that i'm planning on installing on my truck in the future

Completed my FiTech Go EFI 4 kit up and running and it was definatly the best $1300 I have ever spent on the truck.
I am 110% satisfied. Throttle response is outstanding, I don't think it could get any better. Truck is much faster! Feels like it went on a diet and lost 1000lbs. I have no doubt I just gained 50hp. I had a new Holley 670 Street Avenger that worked good but I don't have much experience tuning carbs. Engine fires right up on a cold day and no need to wait for the engine to warm up before driving. The touchscreen programmer is awsome. Its nice to see the AFR and accurate engine temp. I did have to modify the FiTech throttle bracket to work with my Bowtie Overdrive TvMadeEZ kit for my 700R4 transmission. The bracket looks just like a holley but it is thicker so I trimmed it up with a dremel tool cutting wheel and bent the tab a bit more. I reduced the diameter of the protruded ring and trimmed the tab, seen in red. Since I'm not tready to install an under bed tank I modified the fuel sender by drilling a 1/2" hole in the dimple and adding a 1/2" stainless pickup that I bent. Brazed it up with silver. Tried with silfos first but had no success, switched to products seen in picture and got it done. It was a very tight fit getting it in the tank but it worked. Bottom line this kit ROCKS! FiTech's customer service is excellent. I will never touch a carb again.

How was the first fire up and learning process? Apparently the best deal on the market just got better too next month they release another unit good up to 400 hp for only $800!!! I may just have to do it even if I put it on my old tired motor |

Glad to hear everything went well. I received a system about a week ago and will be installing it on top of a ZZ4 in my 69 Camaro. I'll report back when I have time to bolt it in.

Since reading this today I have called Fitech twice today and done a ton of research. I am pretty sure I am going this route after christmas. Looks like a solid product, and I have tried till blue in the face to tune a dead spot out of my quickfuel 750. I am glad to see its price is within reason.

I just watched a new video on their website where they mention that new 400hp unit. I don't know if I can resist buying one now. I just got my QuickFuel dialed in and have ALMOST eliminated my stumble (shows up every once in a while), but for $1190 all in with their command center, it's getting tough to justify tuning a carb anymore. Come on tax return!!! Anybody in the market for a lightly used QuickFuel HR-680???

It fired right up,pretty much instantly. I have never seen it start that quick even with a brand new carb. The learning process starts when the engine reaches 150*F. I think the instructions state it takes about 10 minutes after that to complete but will continously make adjustments to keep everything running as good as possible. I could hardly tell it was learning because it ran better from the second I fired it up. The throttle response is so much better it feels like a new truck. I could not help myself, smoked the tires every chance I got. Like I said before, I will NEVER put another carb on anything I own...unless the world is comming to a end and I have no choice.

I am really interested in this for my truck but want to know what i will need to change. My truck is completely stock minus the HEI. it is a 350/th350 setup. would i need to change anything on my transmission cable? what about the fuel tank? mine is still in the cab. what all did you need to change and how is your truck setup ?

You may need a bracket or lever depending on your current setup but it is definatly an option. -Optional: Drive like a complete jerk and smoke tires all over the place with a ear to ear smile.

I've been reading about this non stop since yesterday now and am pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on the 600hp power adder version ($1,200) plus the Fuel Command Center ($400).
My truck is basically stock (350) with a 650 edelbrock carb that is definitely out of tune. The pros for me seem to be: - Flexible to use with basically any future engine swap. - Easy to setup. Subtle looking. - The Fuel Command Center lets me keep my in-cab fuel tank, and will pressure up the fuel coming from the mechanical pump to the EFI unit. I like the fact that the Fuel Command Center will keep the built in electric fuel pump cooler (submersed) and will be quieter then an in-line electric pump which I believe would also require a return line. Although it looks like most ppl install the Fuel Command Center in the engine bay, I may look at putting it out of sight attached to the frame somewhere, and running an extended fuel line into the EFI unit. We'll see. - Save time and money not needing to get the carb tuned. - Fuel economy increase. I read a fellow with a C3 Corvette increased from 200miles per tank to 300 miles per tank! - Adding the included 02 Sensor into the stock exhaust will be easy with something like this: Amazon.com: AEM 30-2355-250 2.5" No-Weld O2... I'll be calling them before ordering to make sure I have everything I'll need for parts to complete the install. The kit comes with everything you need to install the o2 sensor and it is very simple to install. Like mentioned it can be clamped or welded to the exhaust. The instructions state not to install the o2 sensor before connecting it to the functioning EFI harness because it can damage the sensor. So if you want it welded and can't weld it at home you should clamp it and then take it to a shop to be welded. Mine is completly sealed with the clamps. Absolutly everything you need is included except for whatever bracket you may need to connect your transmission & throttle cable.

Merry Christmas to me! I just pulled the trigger on the black basic with the command center. Jegs had the soonest ship out date at 12/30/15. I truly doubt it ships out then because fitech told me they would have some in stock around 1/15/15 but we will see.

has anyone used the command center with the stock tank? I have a 72 tank with the passenger side vent on it that runs with the feed line up the passenger side frame. Heres my concern! the vent off my tank is just unhooked on my frame, no charcoal canister. I am afraid if I connect the vent from the command center to it my tank will no longer have an over pressure vent. The gas cap lets air in but not out. Meaning if the truck sits in the sun my tank may expand. From my research there is no such thing as a two way vented fuel cap for a 72 tank. Fitech says NOT to vent the command center under the hood but hell thats the way my truck has been for years. Whats the issue if I just put a T in the tank vent line and still leave it vented by the frame under the hood? I can see this being an issue if the command center puts out a ton of fumes but I dont know if it does yet.
Anyone ran into this issue yet or know of a 72 locking tank cap that vents both ways but wont spill fuel out in a hard right hand turn?

I've been researching these for a while, and have been talking to FITech a little.
I want to use the Command Center fuel pump setup so I can keep my in-cab tank and not worry about burning up fuel pumps. The only thing I can't figure out what to do with is the vent on the Command Center. Its supposed to be vented back to the tank. My truck is a 1970, so no vent exists. I don't see an easy way to add one without welding on the tank, which just isn't going to happen since it has had fuel in it. FITech was no help with this, they actually gave me a smartass reply about "Remove the BOMB and put a tank under the bed". Anybody have any good ideas on what to do with that vent?

Above the filler neck on your truck should be a hose inside the cab T into it here. This should not be a problem with your truck as LONG as you have the correct 2 way vented fuel cap. You can still get them for a 67-71 tank because the filler neck is smaller.
This is where I am having an issue, I cant find a two way vented gas cap for a 72 that has ever existed. have you ever open your cap and it had pressure or spewed fuel back upon an open? If so your cap is not two way vented or its faulty.
