Re: Cutting in Headlight relays.
I wanted to wire in the new relay harness but will need to get a female connector for the truck harness wires. I have a tan and a green wire coming from the firewall and the new harness had a 3conductor. I suspect the black wire is the ground, but I'm not sure yet. If it is then I will simply put a ring connector on it and ground it to the rad support. Did anyone else in the group deal with this?
Thanks Jake

Re: Cutting in Headlight relays.
Great, thanks, did you ground I to the rad support? White goes to tan and blue to green. I think I'll have to add some red wire so the relationship can reach the positive battery post. How did you attach to the battery?

Re: Cutting in Headlight relays.
I grounded to the radiator support. Ran a hot wire to the battery

Great! and thank you. It's suppose to rain most of the day, so I'll run to home Depot for some red wire and get her hooked up today!.

Re: Cutting in Headlight relays.
Chapter 3, got everything connected, pulled the headlight switch and have high beams, but when I push the floor high beam switch and have no headlights t all. How can something so seemingly simply be so damn problematic. I'm ready to give up, at this point I'll need to adjust the beam so as not to blind anyone while driving for now, but DARN.
Any ideas kindly accepted - PLEASE.

Re: Cutting in Headlight relays.
Trace it out.
Since the high beams work, we know you are getting power to the headlight switch, and your headlight grounds are good. Do you have 12v coming out of the headlight switch? Do you have appropriate power at each of the pins on the relay? 30 - battery (12v) 85 - ground 86 - low beam wire (should be the same as at the switch) 87 - output to head light Do you have voltage at the headlight connector?
