if you are looking for long cables try mid 70s ford econoline, like dorman part C92872. Close to 8 feet long
Cut sheath and cable to length, add a new end like lokar WCA8074. I'd braze that end on through the set screw holes, my experience with the set screw style is not good. Or I'd make an end by drilling some threaded rod and braze that. Or you could take it to a place that makes rigging cables (sailboats or architectural stuff) and have them crimp an end on |

if you check your local hydraulic shop they may fabricate brake cables, teflon lines steel braid brake hoses, custom brake hoses with the correct brass or steel block on the end, etc.
