i wish i would have taken more pictures to help explain, but basically everything that hung over in the back was brought in, then i hammered the body line flat welded everything up and dollied everything back to shape, there is a minimum amount of filler on the whole job. heres a pic that somewhat helps explain.. is that your ride with the tilt front/chop? if so id love to check out some pics of it if you got any up

nice chop
Thats a pretty sick chop you did there. I think the 60-63 look better chopped, well, the trucks anyway. I myself chopped my 65 panel 6", but i see your droppin alot of money on glass. I cut mine myself for about $20 in sand for a sandblaster and about 6 hrs of my time. if you want info on how, pm me. Oh and here are some pics, although its all flat black now. Oh, and ive got tons(about 150 pics) of pics from the whole chop, if anyone has questions.

cool
i love the look of your panel, that thing would look killer laid out on the rockers!! did you widen the roof any? or just bring the pillars in to it....ive heard of cutting glass with a sandblaster, i actually have a friend who did it to the windshield in his 82 c10 with good success. im thinking of trying it but ill probably take it to a pro, being that the windshield cost so much to start with. i really dont want to buy another one, and id hate to be the one who broke it.

Re: my 62
Nice job on the chop!
I choped my 41 so I know how difficult in can be (the fact that I have not finished mine is proof of the difficulty)

Re: cool
OOOHH man you know its been 3 years, since I started this thread? wow. I Zed the frame in the front another 2" lower, sectioned the body 2" i rebuilt the back half with new links and a wishbone setup, and thats about it. Time and money have got me for now. BUT SOON! I just need a little motivation and Ill be at it again. I want to order some new rockers and cab corners so I can finish the section. Then Ill pull the body back off and start working on the drivetrain. Again more money........
