sanded the door to bare metal, finished with 180 grit

sprayed the 1st coat of primer on the door...

will try and disassemble the driver door, and sand that down...

gonna block sand the cab/fenders/door over the next couple o days...

compressor took a crap, so i need to scour craigslist for one that is good enough to spray my whole truck at one time... but i have paint already, bright cobalt blue metallic, so as soon as i'm able... color will be on

Just a suggestion, but finish up with 320 before primer, saves some time with the block sanding.

i have 360, but i figured that would be too smooth for bare metal before primer...

the stock shocks are bottoming out, i'll have to get me a new set of drop shocks i guess...

Sorry guys, project on hold for a while...

My Dad has cancer, so i'm taking care of him, Chemo until about Feb., then surgery etc. etc.

Good luck with after market parts, I've bought a few interior pieces from a couple different distributors and so far haven't been happy with fit and finish (except for inner fenders). You would think somebody would make quality aftermarket parts for these pickups, especially for the common items. Watch ebay and craiglist for NOS and you can get lucky sometimes but for the most part prices have gone crazy...supply and demand.
