Re: Thank you to our military members and veterans
Thank you to everybody who is sacrificing to keep us safe and free! My uncle is in Mosul, Iraq right now. I get an e-mail from him now and then and I can't believe how brave our men and women of the armed forces are. His pride makes me proud to be an American. I don't have enough room to write how much I support our troops or how thankful I am for their service. To those who are serving, may God bless you with comfort in trying times and a safe journey home. Thank you.

Re: Thank you to our military members and veterans
Yesterday as I was about to enter the Base BX, I saw a license plate that said "EX POW" and it was apparently a WWII vet getting in his car to leave. It made me think about his experiences during that war. And everyday at work I of course see alot of service people of all branches wearing desert camo uniforms. I have several friends (former co-workers I've been stationed with) who have been over in the sand box area more than once. I haven't been deployed there, yet. I almost got deployed a coupled months ago for a manning assist request, but it got cancelled since I am the only one in my unit in my career field at the moment.
My units mission has recently changed and we are still in transition to a different mission with different aircraft. The aircraft I used to help maintain carried the red cross on the tail. I salute and appreciate all members of the military especially those who have served in combat and/or high threat areas helping to defend our country and supporting it, past and present. I also envy them. During the recent Veterans Day parade in which myself and some others in my unit participated in (we carried the 30 x 60 American Flag in the parade) I saw alot of veterans from past wars who were in wheel chairs. They made huge sacrifices in doing what there country asked of them. And next to them I can't help but feel in awe of them for what they went through. To those that are over there in the sand box arena, Take Care and hope you get home soon. To those that have returned, Welcome Home.

I have deep appreciation for all those who put their lives on the line in far away places just so we can enjoy all the liberties we hold near and dear. To those who serve, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Re: Thank you to our military members and veterans
I treasure what the current armed forces do on a daily basis and what the early veterans did to fight for our freedom. Both of my grandfathers fought in the war, unfortunately they both passed away before I was born so I never got to hear of their times overseas but I am very proud of their accomplishments.
