Mounting the crossmember between the C-Channel there was an issue. After mock-up on the under side of the rail there was no issues.

Hey dwcsr,
Thanks for the compliment! 2000 S10 Blazer 2WD, I am seriously thinking about trying a 4WD from the same model, due to my concerns of wheel back-spacing trying to clear the Bed-Sides.

I have been looking into that too and the 4wd is 59" compared to the 2wds 54".

Are those total lengths, from disc to disc? Or backing plate to backing plate?

Hey GATORBUILT, your progress is really coming along and is looking great! If your not planing on going with super wide tires in the back then I would go with the 4X4 rear. I used the 2X4 and ended up have to use wheel spacer to get the 20 X 10 wheels centered.

CAL, did you use a spacer with a wheel with zero back spacing?

The back spacing on my wheels is 4 inches. The spacers are 3.5 inches. If I measured correctly (I have yet to install the bed), then they should tuck inside my fenders with about 0.25 clearance on both sides.

If you have four inches of back spacing on your exsisting wheels, I am not in as much trouble as I thought I was!

Just remember I also have 3.5 inch wheel spacers between the hub and back of the wheel.

Yeah I get your point. I am not a fan of spacers. But if they are needed for the application I will use them. I was in the mind frame of just having Zero back spacing. Since I will not be 'BAGGING', using a 22x8. (Maybe I should wait to install the bed.) I seen a good deal on a complete bed in Classic Chevrolet Catolog. Have u seen any good deals out there?
