Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
Maybe, though I need someone to start taking measurements of their existing decal. I need a picture of 2 rulers or tape measures on length, and width of their decal. The only way to sell these things is if they are accurate, so I need help from you guys on taking pics of existing decals and getting measurements of areas on it. Trevor

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
Just a guess but I bet the truck jack sticker is the same size/layout as the blazer one and might help producing the repop?

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
I suppose I could, but I will need measurements off of the correct one to see where things go and measure up. That's the main issue, in order to get things somewhat correct we need shots of measurements. Trevor

BigDon-
Here's probably the best decal you're gonna find.... see if the man who owns it will measure it for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-J...fCarsQ5fTrucks |

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
Sold for around 12K in 2005. It was around Xmas so very cold in MN. I called the original owners brother in law who had it listed, but he did not know much about it and the pictures were terrible so you could see how good or bad it was and I passed. At that point it was in Minneapolis (which is why I was concerned) and the winning bidder in SanDiego bought it and made it road worthy. If I remember correctly, he did not save all the original parts that were replaced.
I have also spoke to the guy who has it now. Seemed like a great guy so might help. |

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
I called the guy who is the contact person for now, don't know if he is the owner but super nice guy. Sent me pics of this decal and it is PRISTINE, no discoloration, small corner gone but very useable for what we are trying to do. The pics however are blurry and basically unuseable for us for what we are doing. I think with the right pics, we could cut and paste most of the parts of it without problems. I replied to him almost begging him to send better pics, hopefully he will before it gets sold.

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
Don,
If you can have him take a high resolution shot (highest he can), and have him send it on a disc? I am sure you or somebody could compensate him for his trouble. |

Do we have any members here that might be close to that truck? I'm 190 miles away, but would love to see it in person.

What is the part number? I can't read it on the pictures provided. I can try to locate one with that. WES

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
It is 6" wide by 3.5" high. I have a picture of one but the photo has the "date" blocking the part number. Luvtxlr8 used to have some good pictures of the Blazer Jack instruction but it was darkened on the right side. Eventually someone will come up with a really good NOS one~~~. Huck

Never mind, almost in Northern Illinois. And he sold it! I will try to call him tomorrow to see if we can get better pics or new owner name or something!

Re: Jack instructions decal-blazer
On the one I posted on page 2, it has the date (1-6-69) and the part # looks to be 3967309.
