Heres my full order copy relating to engine fueling etc. (please note I left out alot as I had pressure gauge senders, adapters etc but.... it should get you in the right direction)

RUS-640940 FUEL RAIL ADAPTER FITTING
$11.97

RUS-644110 LT1 QUICK CONNECT FUEL FITTING
$14.97

RUS-644120 LT1 QUICK CONNECT FUEL FITTING
$14.97 x 2 = $29.94 (one @ engine, one @ vette reg 3/8 supply)

SUM-220985 PTFE HOSE -6AN X 20' ROLL
$69.97

WIX-33737 FUEL FILTER/REGULATOR VETTE
$39.97

SUM-250690 -6 STRAIGHT PTFE FITTING $10.97 ea
I had 3 on the regulator, one at engine rail.. your line layout may differ

SUM-250687 -6 90 PTFE FITTING $14.97 ea
I had used these on the top of my fuel tank.... your line layout may differ

MEASURE FIRST!.... I DONT REMEMBER! but I think... think.. vacuum cap for the EVAP solenoid was this: RNB-650-007

Also if you would need it for engine cooling temp on the LS blocks....
Passenger side cylinder head rear has a metric 'pipe plug' in it that can be removed and have this: Auto Meter 2277 put into it to convert the metric threads to accept an 'inch' NPT sender for engine cooling temp.

Theres also the metric to 6-AN transmission cooling adapters also if your planning on using any time of AN hose for 4L60e trans fluid...... (I used PTFE as I had ordered extra fittings.... ANY type of pressure-rated hose usually does the job though. (trans fluid isnt as corrosive as fuel) For reference later on 4L60e to 6-AN SUM-220027

Apologies for the thread jack... hopefully you don't mind. Any further questions... do ask.. I was pretty 'uptight' about my record keeping on my 66 C10 LS swap.
This is some great info right there. Will check which one will fit my need and order them accordingly tomorrow.

At the moment I still kept lines for trans out of the 05, will try to fit in 05 radiator too if I can. If it does not work out I will follow your suggestion on it.

Man I am heading to a busy weekend Friday after work. Everything is getting clear in the head, just need to get it done now. Its funny how simple it all become after you grab the right info together how to do it.

644120 is what I used on the engine fuel rail and on the 3/8" supply side of the vette regulator.

644110 is what I used on the 5/16" return on the vette regulator.

If you wanted black in color vs. blue I show 644127 and RUS-644113

VERIFY your rail fittings...
FYI....644127 is the part number for a pack of 25 fittings in Black. For the single fitting it is part number 644123 for the Black...

Race-

I looked at your diagram of you fuel system. I had not seen the 611203 fittings before. that eliminates some fittings and connections on the hoses that I used. I think those fittings would work well in the system the way you have it drawn.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

I changed parts list some more. I think this should do it now. Parts are listed and priced on attachment. AC Delco GF 822 is not listed here but needed and hose cutters that summit was out of stock at the moment. I will pick those locally. Plus hose clamps to hold hose lines to the frame.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

Did some work over long weekend. Engine is mounted for the last time. Gibson headers are on (they do fit with slight mod on engine mounts in my case), intake, coils, harness is back on. Did not make mount for PCM yet, also relocation of battery tray still on the list.

Front wheels finally showed on Friday and decided to get them on right away. Installed 3" drop spindle together with new joints on upper/lower arms, new brake cylinders, pads, hoses,... Added 3" drop coils with it. The thing sit nice and low. I know I know, pics... They will follow by the end of the week don't worry. Still waiting for the rear wheels. They on the way now and should be in by Friday. Excited to see it in new shoes. Should look sweet.
Gas supply parts are dropping in daily now - I guess weekend plan is already defined. Not much time rest of the week, work will keep me busy till Friday for sure.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

Not much work done over the weekend. Gas tank is ready to be dropped in, sending unit is in place, need to cut and prepare fuel lines to connect it to engine.
Did manage to finish some work around engine bay. Modified PCM holder is in place on driver inner fender, mount for fuses is located on the holder. Battery tray was relocated on driver side. 05 radiator and fans are mounted and overall fit good and look good too. Just picked CL score tonight - like new K&N CAI that was slightly used still in box for $180 -that's about 30% off new sell price.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

I have a runner! Had fuel lines switched from fuel tank to the GF 822 but when that was fixed it fired right up. Driveshaft had to be shortened 1" and it fits back in. I got couple exhaust pipes with H pipe insert from Summit and ordered some Magnaflow mufflers with it. When parts arrive majority of small thing will be squared away already and it is getting on the road for test drive. Still need to hook up shifter linkage to the steering column and get switch for haul mode. Oh yea, dyed interior black and had seat redone in black and red vinyl. Excited!!!

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

When I pulled fuel tank to installed new one this made my day. I guess one of the girls at assembly line was feeling love at work that day. I left it in there and hope it last forever.
Pic of seat and truck in new shoes. Seat is copied by idea on the forum that I liked the most off all. 3" spring combined with 3" spindle is too much @ front. Need to raise it up it rub at any minimum turn. Will use member suggestion and cut 3/4" off stock spring for now to see how it sit and then cut some more to get ride height and later invest in 1" or 2" drop spring if needed.

Its 255/45-20. Rims have 5,25" BS up front. Had to pull out 3" springs and put 2" springs to avoid rubbing to the inner fender. All good now. Floor to front center outside fender lip measure 29,5" now. No picture of it yet. Rocker panel and bed bottom measure 10-10,5" front to back if you find that helpful too.

Gibson GP 139S. They do fit and they exit just in center of frame rails and not below frame like some might. I run my own trans cross member and exhaust line passes on top of it. Easy pipe routing. Just need to route pipes couple inches more toward center of truck to avoid running it too close to fuel lines in frame rails.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

All is running good for now, still need to hook up shifter cable and some minor things need to be done.

On the tow mode switch; I have below momentary switch. It has led ring light on front face. Where do I connect the pin 71 wire? Switch will have constant negative supply and ignition switched positive to turn on light on switch. Do I lead 71 wire to NC, NO or C ?

Thanks for help again.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

The Tow/Haul wire needs a momentary signal to ground to activate it. Run the wire to the NO contact. When you push the botton, it should close the circuit, when you release the button the circuit should be open.

Verify this with you ohm meter. Put one lead on the NO terminal and the other lead on the (-) terminal. It should have an open circuit without the button depressed. Depress the button, the circuit should close and read resistance on your meter.

If that does not make a circuit, switch the one lead on the (-) terminal to the C terminal and try again. If this makes it work, then the C terminal needs to be hooked up to ground for the button to work with the Tow/Haul mode.

The (+) and (-) terminals may only be for the light...

Thanks for input. I tried - The (+) and (-) terminals are for light only. Hooked up one way light is blue, terminals hooked up to battery opposite way the light is green. Signal works correct with negative hooked up to C and the tow wire to NO. Now it is getting for real. Not able to try it out yet but on weekend will be tested for sure.

Engine bay is done, it is not beauty queen but that was not goal either. Exhaust is done, it is 2,5" pipes with H and Magnaflow center-center muffler and turndowns before rear axle. Boy that sounds good! Need to make movie clip and post it here for opinions!

Still need to clean/remove some old wires for 305 - I will do that when I change heater core on the weekend.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

Did I ever said that LS in truck runs amazing lol? I love every bit of it.

Went for longer test drive today and its pure fun. Need to put new rotors on it because it does shake when stopping hard and with LS you need stopping power too. I knew it will be needed but still hoped what was on will be ok.

On the tow mode; for now it is still just wire that is hooked to the ground while driving. It does make big difference when it switch mode. That thing will fly.
I use stock type temp sensor and stock gauge. When I ground the tow wire then gauge goes crazy up and down for a while. It might be just something else at same time causing it. After couple miles all go back to normal.

Whole truck is polished now, side trim is removed also waiting for the new one to put on it. Changed faded driver mirror. Need to get good driver quality rear bumper also to make it smooth. Was thinking to use 72 rear bumper like on 64 but not sure just yet. Will probably go with cheap used stock bumper.

Re: Faded 87 soon to be LS powered

My stock under hood sound insulation is a mess and it is falling apart. While back I noticed that member used one plastic liner made for this with some silver insulation directly to the hood like sound deadener. It looked great. Anyone know how it is called and where to get it? I try to google it without sucess with my broken english lol. Thanks
