I have a few ideas that might save you a lot of money centering the rear wheels. Give me a call when you get a chance.

I never said the bedsides were made in the US. Almost everything that has a black coating is from overseas. I assumed everyone knew that all the parts came from overseas. I just have never had a fitment problem with the parts we receive and we install them quite frequently and we have installed these parts on every year range of the Chevrolet Trucks 1947-72. That's why I try to be helpful and post pictures of MY process of installation because everyone doesn't go about it the same way, we know what to do to make it easy because we do install these parts so often.

Just for the record. I wasn't questioning you. I know where these parts come from and the chances that everybody takes using them. It is nice to know they fit well though.

I'm sure most folks are aware that all these reproduction parts are made overseas, but I think people may have been confused by some of your statements and incorrectly assumed that you were a separate manufacturer/supplier. When you type statements like, "Our swb fleet bedsides are on sale for $510ea"; "Here are some pictures of our tailgate installed on the '62."; or "We are using one of our aftermarket Chevrolet tailgates", it can be a bit confusing.

That said, I'm curious who supplies the tailgates that you use. I just bought a reproduction gate second hand and it fits like crap (given my location, I'm guessing it was originally sold by the Truck Shop). When closed, the top edge of the gate sits up about a 1/4" above the bedsides, on both sides.

Re: New 1960-66 swb fleetside bed kits!

The tailgates we sell are triplus. We don't have any trouble with them. Everything aftermarket needs a little persuasion but that's where we offer something that no other vendor does. You can call us and we will tell you what WE do to install them and tips to make the install easier.

Do you combine shipping if I order several parts or is it easier to come and get them?

Does that tailgate sit flush if you look at it from the side, my OEM one sticks out of the end caps and I don't like it, might order a repop if they fit better.

We offer the complete kit only. You have to change more than just the floor.
