That does look sweet, I think that is what I want to do with my stepside. Thanks.
How about a picture of the whole truck.

Great job my freind ! Anyone can do this and along with other mods "if" you set your head to do it ! Great details too. If i had known that this mod would have been this big of a hit i'd made pics and had more detail as well. Now,maybe you can answer a 1,000 e-mails like i have in the past ! *L* Think we can make any money off of this mod let me know and we'll split it ! *L*
Again, great job ,everyone get to work now and you can do it too!

Tennman,
I was suprised to see this thread come up again! Wow, I geuss the idea is always a good one. As far as making any money, THat's all you bud, your the one who came up with the idea, I just modded it for a stepsede, which I think is a little easier than a fleetside. As for the emails, I don't mind getting them. I get enough information from this board that I love to donate the one or two things I actually know about. I'll get some pics of the whole truck with the new soft tonnue (spell?) cover on real soon. Shawn

Re: INSTALL: Tennman's Sidemarker Fuel Fill on a Stepside
Can this be done on a fleetside? Not much room between marker light and inside wall.

Re: INSTALL: Tennman's Sidemarker Fuel Fill on a Stepside
It can be done with a little bit of cutting. I was a 19 year old with a grinder and a welder that saw this thread back in 03 or 04. Now, California emissions laws require big ol rubber boots on the fuel pump spigots, and makes filling the truck a little difficult. I need to carry around a little adapter to stick into the neck when I refuel. If I had to do it again, I would use the tail light.
