Re: What did you do to your truck today?
All I did to mine was move it outside and wash off all the gasoline residue from the previously leaking fuel lines. Now my garage doesn't stink like gas anymore.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Saturday spent the day drinking coffee, napping on the garage floor, and cleaning up the 73 3.08-1 posi that is going in my 62.
Removed the saddles and shock mounts with the torch and cleaned all that up before painting it Saturday night. Sunday afternoon my son and I pulled the original rear-end out, removed the coils and cleaned up the mess. Good weekend - rg Last edited by robber grin; 05-19-2013 at 08:29 PM. Reason: spelling |

Man you guy's have some mean weather in Kansas, no wonder Dorthy didn't like it. Seriously though, not cool on the truck getting beat up is it. House looks pretty rough too.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Installed NOS heater switch (and threw away jumper that had been on my dash for 6 months!) Built some speaker boxes, and got rid of excess wiring in cab.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Installed the oil pan I painted last week, crossing my fingers that it doesn't leak too bad. Did a dry fit of the correct size flex plate and new starter. Also ordered a few parts in the hopes of having the truck on the road before the weekend.

Yesterday, installed new engine mounts and new flex plate. Also cleaned the tranny the best I could and have it in place for installing it today.
