That looks great, Dino.
What are the plans for the stereo? I just spec'ed mine out and hope to have it built and installed in a few weeks.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
still waiting for shims!!! but i did find a cool a$$ c50 an amazing shape, this old boy had it since it was new, 283 ,4speed, two speed rear end 100% complete inside and out runs good, me and my buddy joe went today and pick it up i drove it about 25miles home no problems , i am going to do a qwik build on it shorten the frame and i found a 68 long bed to install on it,a buddy of mine on the board deals in semi wheels and tires so i may go with some 24"i am not lowering it i know thats wierd for me but i seen these truck like top kicks and other that have been built i think it will be fun

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
does that c-50 have air brakes? if so id be interested in the gauges...
that truck would look killer on some 22.5 polished alcoa's with low pro tires on it!!! get some chrome "nut" covers and chrome axle covers and be in business!!

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Dino,
You couldn't stand to put the gmc logo on the front could you? Chevy only! what's the deal with the shims on the rear end? I just ordered my trailing arms and will be running the whole trailing arm dropmember eventually. So I'm curious how I'll need to properly set it up? Thanks and the billet style grill looks clean! Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Well....
First, you da man....you have a great vision..and quite the fleet. Some very nice rides there. I just sent like a hour going through all of the pages here and you got some game. I happen to be out of town and am sitting in the great white land of the north in 2 feet of snow at minus 35 for a few more days. But checking those pages out sure has me fired up to work on some stuff when I get back home. But all i can do right now is order more parts......gotta love the internet. Thanks for sharing keep up the good work |
