Hey guys sorry I haven't posted any progress pics. I have got some work done, I mocked up the rear end and tacked it in place but I have an issue. When I raise the rear end up in the notch (aired out) the rear end is forward in the notch. The 4 link kit for the 67-72 trucks requires the 4 link bars to be 23.5" center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole and I know I have the notches located right. I'm just not sure what the issue is or if its an issue at all. I have a call in to PB so I'll see what they say. I guess I could mock up a bed side and see if the wheel is centered. Any thoughts guys?

Thats what I'm trying to figure out. The axle tube has a 4" diameter and I know they compensated for that because Dave asked me when I placed my order. I'm pretty confident my measurements are correct as far as notch placement goes. I think the best thing for me to do at this point is mock up a bedside and see where the center line lies with the rear sitting in the notch.

I agree with this. If it's centered in the wheel wells, I don't think it would matter, but I'm not anywhere near as familiar with this kind of stuff as you are. Good luck. I hope it's nothing.

Hey Rus, nice progress you are making. Curious if both of the rear of the notches are equal distance to the rear of the frame? I can only imagine how much work you did to get that in there, hope you get it fixed. It's probably pretty common issue with a easy fix, good luck.

with the axle all the way up in the notch are you able to un-bolt the links and adjust them to put the axle where you want?

I've double and triple checked all the measurements on the notches and they are the same and correct with the PB installation instructions.

I can adjust the length of the bars but right now they are set to the correct length that PB specs for the 67-72 trucks. I'm gonna mock up a bedside and see where the center line lies. I think that will answer my questions.

No the 50th truck is still for sale. I had a lot of interest but no one pulled the trigger. It's ok I sure enjoy driving it. I'll drove it till it sells! Lol I should have some updates on Darcy next week.
