Re: crewcab pictures

Yep, the front end is smashed in. I guess the dude who wrecked it hit a cinderblock wall in Las Vegas, and one of the previous owners had put a nova frame clip on several years ago(and did a very clean job doing it!)

Nice cab! Too bad it won't work due to the difference in cab styles from pre 64.

Re: crewcab pictures

Man.....I know EXACTLY where your shop is now.....I just pulled in there yesterday....I was with my customer on the way back from steam-cleaning the 14bolt........Isn't Paul running his dyno shop in there somewhere ??

By chance were you there ?? Around 12-12:30ish on Saturday? I was in a white SuperDuty utility truck....A couple of ugly dudes were staring at me...I thought mabey one of them was you !!!

Just Kidding bro !!!

Just brousing for something bigger (shop)...I don't pay anything where I'm at now....but still would want something bigger.

You are so close to where I'm at.....

Looks good man..definately nailed something hard !!!!

John

I share unit I, it's the one in the complex with no sign or name on it, just a small sticker on the office door. I just noticed where your shop is, I go to US bearing and drive on Reed st all the time for parts.

I'm thinking that I'm going to build a table with simulated frame rails to join the 2 cabs together, it will be way easier then trying to butt the 2 cabs and frames together on the floor. That new cab is solid, I might actually need another truck roof section to make the interior roof and exterior roof.

That would defiantely make it easier...better working height, and the ability to slide the cabs back and forth while "massaging" the metal !!

Man it's gonna be cool...cruising with 6 people in an 'Air-Conditioned' cab dragin the frame !!!

I'm thinking it will, I just have to make sure that everything is perfectly square. Did I mention I was looking at putting an 5.3 in my truck instead of building up a 383? Way cheaper, and they can be turbocharged......
