Re: Burnouts,Smoke 'em if you Got 'em!
I have always been of the opinion holding the brakes cheating. I have driven many pathetically slow 2.7L V6 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 rental cars that will do what you all call a burnout if you turn off the traction control and hold the brakes while you lay down the throttle. You can get a front digger GM rental car like an Impala to do with same if you hold the emergency brake. I mean com’on
Whatever happened to poking it in the neck at a dead stop without holding the brakes to see how far it will burn? Now, that is a burn out.

66Prostreet.... where is your video of a burnout? Being as you have a prostreet truck you should be able to get a video of a sick one.

Take note boys and girls. 70blowngmc's truck video is a real burn out! No power braking until the drums are red hot here. I’ll get one of mine doing a one tire fire next time I dig it out of the corner of the garage. It hasn’t moved since 2006 when this video was taken so this one will have to suffice for now. Plan on some kind of limited slip for mine as it won't get any traction at all. It is terrible out of the hole but makes for a good smoke show without holding the brakes.

Re: Burnouts,Smoke 'em if you Got 'em!
LOL 66prostreet you make it sound like your the only one with that kind of power. Im guessing your a kid with daddys money so your cocky or just dont know any better. Did you buy your truck or build it? It is not hard to make 600ft/lb with a BBC. i mean i have maby $4500 into mine with IRON heads and am making over 550hp and TQ with a mild cam.
If your messing around then fine but stop being a dick to others and acting like your better then all of us.

Re: Burnouts,Smoke 'em if you Got 'em!
Ok guys, here's the deal. You have been warned to keep it civil but can't seem to do so. Since this is a popular thread, I will leave it open for now. If ANYONE gets an attitude again, you will be facing some quiet time in the corner.
PLAY NICE or move along.
