Here's my 60 GMC 305 V6. It doesn't run, but as far as I can tell it is nearly all original.
I'm hopefully pulling the engine and trans in the near future to rebuild. |

Not too many guys like the 2 year "ugly" eyebrows or bug eyes but since I bought one I'm hooked! I'm looking for another one - one original and the other tricked out!

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
I used to think these front ends were ugly but somehow now I really like them. Although I have a 65 C10, my favorite is still the 63 Chevy grill since it's unique to one year. What I really have a problem with is when you see trucks with the wrong grill or hood or both lol.

I can't speak for the rest of the truck but the "Ugly Snout" still lives on;

Wow! Thanks cool gman60. Really neat to restore a truck that's been in your family for generations. Looking forward to seeing your restoration progress. Murph |

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
My 65 I put the 61 hood and grill on, 64 roof cap and passenger door, and 66 front fenders and bed.
With the hood I used the 65 hinges and the pin for the 66 (had to adjust) with the grill 4 of the holes lined up and had to drill for the other two.

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
I paid $150 for mine and its a pos. corners are gone and need some structural work. They are hard to come by so I bought it anyways. Thought it would make my ugly panel truck even better.
