Hello everyone I have an 2002 5.3 4l60e I bought an aftermarket gauges set up but I saw back in December a guy that had his factory rpm an speedo working he was using the black box for the speedo but said he used an adapter from the speedo to the rpm has anyone heard of this ?

Check out Cable X and Speedhut Speedbox. I believe thats what you are looking for if you want to run a stock speedo without modifying it. If you do want to modify it, you can do the S10 conversion or send it to Redline Gaugeworks and they'll do it for you.

Thinking of getting the VHX system. HDX looks nice, but not another $500 nice...

The VHX system is very nice, glad we went that way over individual gauges.
