Wish the body of my 79 was that nice, she is rough front to back but it will get better in time, what are your plans for yours.

Thanks man. Truck is in really good shape. Plans are probably a wheel and tire upgrade. Maybe some nice billets, not too sure yet. Interior is intact, just a few Lil knobs and such missing. Healthy 350 with 120k original. Nothing major to tackle at the moment.

Cleaned it up, but living in a construction zone it was dirty pretty quick again.

Nice 75 C10, is the front clip newer than 75, looks newer by the front fenders.
Any engine pic's you can share. Sits nice, sure airs up doesn't it.

Yes who ever built it originally put a 91 suburban front clip on it unfortunately. I would rather have the correct one on it. Maybe some day lol. And here's a engine picture it's a work in progress.

Common to install that clip, nice truck though, all it will do is get better and better.

Here is my 73 with a 12v Cummins on one ton axles...

Some plans for this one. Not exactly a restoration, but still a squarebody!

Looks awesome! More details? Do the plans have anything to do with the...drip tray...underneath it?

Lol. The drip pan is a front output shaft leak on the np205 that I plan to fix this weekend. I'll try and snap some pics of the 12v as it was beautifully done. Some of the items that I have planned:

1. New softer leaf packs/suspension upgrades
2. regear/lockers
3. custom fabed front winch bumper
4. New gauges
5. Still deciding on the rear end but leaning to converting to a flatbed with integrated storage
6. Reworking the Fuel Cell
7. Relocating the dual batteries under the hood
8. general interior upgrades
9. Removal of the cheap tint
10. Additional subtle lighting (no brights on the 73 and needs more offroad)
11. adding a NP203 mated to the NP205 if I can work out how to use with the a518
12. new wheels and 40" MTRs
13. new hood to keep the 12v cool and happy
14. Currently the exhaust dumps under the truck and I think I will finish the exhaust to pipe either to the side or out the back (keep it a bit less sooty under the rig...

The swap that is currently in the truck was well done: all new seals, injectors, industrial fuel pump, custom high steer, nicely piped with stainless for inter-cooler. Great rig, just needs some bugs worked out and to be finished up.

Before my dad and I took it apart, and roughly what it looks like now. Some small progress since.

Wow, beautiful truck. As clean as that engine compartment is with the hidden coil packs and everything, I am surprised there isn't a nice smooth cover over the top of the radiator. I hate to nit pick, but for some reason that radiator just jumps out to me.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II

Very nice trucks on here. I have a question: should I make a 1974 or 1980 Chevy stepside? I have the parts to make either one, but I'm not sure which to do. Need to know ASAP.
