Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Heres mine, I have had her for the last 3 years, bought it a week after i got back from my first deployment to Iraq. It has a 383 and turbo 400. So far I have replaced the entire wiring harness, added the wheels and tires and lowered 3" all around as well as misc maint stuff. I just bought a house and have my first garage so this winter I will be taking care of alot of things on my list including rebuilding the engine, rebuilding the brakes, find out why my trucks sits uneven in the front (I think its the coils), some body work, move the gas tank to the rear and redo the bed.

there is no way you could get me to paint my truck like that. Color isn't bad, but the grafixs are crazy.

I want one. Do you know if they are still available? What is the name of the truck (on the package or on the underside)?

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
konokazi - Your truck is to die for. I'm definitely not a scallops and wide wihtes guy and yet I think that truck is SO era-correct! HUGE congratulations on an excellent job and for having the flat out full on chops to do it all yourself.
Man, I am truly in love with those chromed (I assume?) old Edelbrock finned valve covers with gold highlights - SO friggin cool. Last edited by Dan in Pasadena; 11-24-2009 at 01:04 AM. |

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
Here`s what happens if you delete or even just move a picture in Photobucket,as well as most other hosts. The URL changes and breaks the link. The staff is letting members know,if you are using a free Photobucket account to please not move your pictures from folder to folder or delete them once you`ve posted them here.
If you upgrade to a pay account w/Photobucket it doesn`t matter. The picture stays. That`s what I did. Also, there`s no no limit to bandwidth. If you exceed the bandwidth, all your pictures will be blocked and that message box will replace it saying you exceeded your bandwidth. It just happened to me.I went ahead and paid up so I don`t have to worry about it. While I`m here...Not mine. It`s a guy I know:

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
I can get you a hotwheels trucks there are tons at my local walmart.
I just passed this bad A$$ truck 2blocks from my house at a paint shop. One of the guys said it came from California was all original with straight six, obviously that didn't last long, it has a new 350 and bagged on the ground. I like the original tires on it. |

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks
That rear suspension is certainly interesting. It appears to be a conventional coil spring trailing arm setup, but I've never seen a single leaf helper(?) spring mounted like that before.
