What made you decide on Vintage Air? Ive heard some people say Classic Auto Air moves more air.

Hey Rob, I don't see any pic's of the swing down ignition you mentioned earlier in this post, any chance you could show us what that looks like, I Love your truck, I'll keep mine around for a parts truck in case you need it.

Re: truck i bought off "junkyardjohn" almost done
Did you smooth the whole firewall? If so where did you relocate the brake booster? I've been looking at an under cab setup but I'm not sure if my exhaust would work with it. Great truck......Jerry

Are the pictures with the rear of the truck aired out or at ride height? Also what are you using a bolt in c-notch or fabricated. Any pics of the rear setup would be great!

Re: truck i bought off "junkyardjohn" almost done
hey guys..the firewall is smoothed everywhere except the brake booster and master i left them in the stock location, the pictures of the rear are of it at ride height.aired down it sits about little over 2.5 inches lower.using a custom C notch not a kit..as for blocked and sanded and primed probably about 5 or 6 times in total before final coat.it still has to be wetsanded and polished it hasnt been touched since i painted it just under 1 year ago..hope that helps guys.will have some more photos comming this week was gone this weekend to the canucks game 7 so didnt do any work on her..what a show for any hockey fans out there...rob

Post #77 (Last Pic) that Aluminum plate used on the motor looks like it
has my companies stencil on it. (Video Jet ink writing) As for the truck I'm just simply amazed (And also the fact that you are just 22)

I don't know how I missed this post for so long. Beautiful work on the truck. My keyboard is now all slobbered up.

Re: truck i bought off "junkyardjohn" almost done
We need a "BLACK TRUCK CLUB". Your truck is beautiful. Congratulations. I'm jealous.
It takes an extraordinary amount of prep work to get a vehicle ready to shoot in black. I'm hoping that mine is just as straight as yours when it's done.

Re: truck i bought off "junkyardjohn" almost done
Looks fantastic, when I make it up there to visit my buddy for golf, I would love to have a look, probably next spring now.
Will you still be producing the trailing arms? |
