The white one has 3in drop spindles in the front with cut coil springs and the rear has Belltech drop leaf springs with raised front spring hangers and longer rear spring hangers, also has a mini notch in the frame with helper bags

Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!
This thread and the cc sticky thread make me smile. I drive my R30 every day and park it in front of my house so I can look at it out my living room window... And I still end up going and looking through these thread a couple times a week! Gotta be true love huh?
So many great looking trucks in here guys! Keep up the good work! And don't think I'm not super jealous of you guys who have the space to own more than one of these bit-chin beasts! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!
Hey all, i have just joined and am not a computer whiz by any means. I am trying to figure out how to get pics of my truck on this site. For now, i have a 1980 chev 1 ton dually that i am the second of. I have had it since 1993. It is getting rusty, but mechanically it is ready to go. It still has the original floor in the box, 454 4 spd, and is light blue with a white roof. I am planning to lower the suspension and make it a street truck. Any input would be very welcome, thanks.

Where did you find the chrome simulators at? I looked everywhere for them in the small 8lug, but could only find the larger 6 and 10 lug patterned simulators.

I have been curious what kind of hitch is on that truck for a while. I like the round tube look on it.

Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!
Some really nice looking rigs in here. Here is the truck my dad just picked up. So far have a billet grille on the way, some alcoas tracked down, waiting to order a 6-8 lowering kit, a oem sport style rear bumper. Nothing special but all power interior, it all still works strangely enough hahaha. Prob gona leave the paint and 30 y/o patina just the way it is.

Great looking trucks. Here is a bad pic of my 82 that is the same color as the 83 above. It is a 6.2 diesel camper special 4x4.
