Re: 86 squarebody made2drag
Just to throw another twist at you guys, all of these specs will depend on tire brand and series too. I have seen tires with identical advertised size be significantly different in actual size and width.
Now that we have completely mucked up this guys build thread, lets get back on topic. Where's the progress pics at made2drag?

Re: 86 squarebody made2drag
experimented with 2 used goodyear 245/45/20's. i think they are just a tad too tall for the front so these two will go on the back and i'm planning on new 245/40/20's for the front. when the back two wear out, i'll go 245/40's there too. i bought 20x8.5's for the rear. (i opted for the sucked in look in the rear instead of 20x10's). |

Re: 86 squarebody made2drag
i drove it down the road and back aired out and it turns lock to lock without rubbing. i have 1 3/4 inches of clearance between the control arms and the ground. need some spindles now. the rear in these pics is riding about 2 inches of gap between the frame and axle because theres no weight on the back. the c notch still isn't cut out yet. still haven't decided if i should spend the time to finish it or if im gonna do a step notch. i'll work on the rear next.
