Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Alan - truck looks fantastic! Loved pic 4 and 5.
Got the PS Door metalwork done and it's a bit wavy here and there... but I hope not too bad for all the effort it took. It was my first attempt at such a repair. Started the filler work. bob |

JWheeler331, should've bought a stepside, would've been less hassle, lol.

Funny thing is.......this was originally a step side. I traded the step side bed for the fleet side. I like the way it turned out though. |

Unloaded this off my trailer. I will put it aside for future just in case I dislike a stock truck. It will be my turbocharged pro tour truck in waiting.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
We have been bailing & hauling hay. My wife drove the GMC while I loaded the hay. the granny low 4 speed is ideal for creeping around the field. I really like using old equiptment. My 1944 LP M farmall cost $325. The international sickle bar mower cost $110 the side delivery hay rake cost $120. the Model 273 New Holland Hay Bailer cost $425 all the equiptment was purchased at auction sales. had one breakdown broke a shear pin on the bailer. quick fix with another 7/16 bolt. the $400 66 GMC that I saved from the scrap man never overheated and never missed a beat! So we have the winters hay all safe in the barn.

i'll have to upload a picture, but I ended up swapping the Jeep TJ coils in with some Monroe Air shocks to help fine tune the height. It's VERY comfortable this way.

Hey OldTruckMan - very cool pics!
I finally primed the PS Door... I'll sand it and shoot it one more time before hanging it back on the 62 and moving on to the next panel. peace robber grin |

I have change the insidebottom and I´m going to change the outer doorskin to, but befor I weld the new sheetmetal I have to wait for the doorglas channels, since it have to be much simplier to change that parts before I weld.
