wood and strips are all there. i bought the truck from a used car lot in redwood city. the saleaman said he had it for sale for 3 months at $6,500 dollars, put it on craigslist for $4,500 and i jumped on it. someone has done alot of the hard work, good for me. i'll get some more pics soon.

I love that you're staying with the 292 and I'm posting a picture of a dressed out, but stock 292 (in a '68) for inspiration. If I had a later truck than my '46 I'd look for one with a 292 just so I could do this to it.

I like the look of the chrome wheels with white wall's. Do you have more pictures that show the wheels better? I have Crager SS wheels that I'm thinking of putting WW on them.
