Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

when I purchased it. It was notched and 4 linked and that was about it. oh yeah and was a squirrels nest since it had no back window for a year. had to gut the interior that was left.did the whole build to where it is in 3 weeks. it wasn't suppose to be salmon (pink lol ) it was going to be a flat orange but didn't happen.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Not mine, obviously. Posted on duallyscene by okcderek, but everybody needs to see this truck.

I especially like the old-skool mini bike in the bed.

Maybe it is or maybe it ain't. I like it.

Looks kinda like a truck that one of Lock's buddies was selling on duallyscene last year? But it was solid white then.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

That rear bumper looks like poop. It's the plastic cap. It doesn't flow w/ the rest of the truck.

The rest of the truck is cool though.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Jason does that make you want to paint yours its original color combo?? I agree the dually fenders should be blue and the rear bumper is wrong but the trim looks pinstriped which is a cool touch.

That is one sweet ride....one day I will have one. Still kicking myself for not buying the 88 CC dually I wanted a few months back.

A little bit, but I'm pretty dead-set on my current plan of attack.

That is a sweet show truck. Now if I could only find a standard cab dually that needs an engine or trans or both. For cheap.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Hey 4x4 guys and gals out there I need some help!!!

On the front end set of leaf springs, on the rear hanger, under the drivers side and pass side floor boards. I need the mesurments for this hanger. Im converting a 2x4 to a 4x4 and i have left the two wheel drive front end under the truck so i can still drive it for now. But that does not stop me from installing the hangers so... having said all that lol ihave included some pics of what i need the mesurements for... and the front hangers installed

Any help would greatly be need and thanked over and over lol

What springs are you going with? Something close to stock? I can get the measurements from my '79 if it will do you any good.

Yes please if you don't mind they are factory springs and I don't mean to be a pain but if you could snap a pic of where you measured from that would help me out a lot

Maybe front cab mount reference ? Thank you so very much

You

Here you go, just let me know if you need something better.

^in this pic, my thumb is even with the bottom of the frame rail

Also, I think these are 3inch lift springs, so shackle angle should be very close to stock.
