Those step bumpers with the dealer's name and city were a big thing in Texas in the 60's and 70's. I'm not sure if Perry bumper company in Waco made them or another Texas step bumper company. I know that they were pretty regional to Texas and maybe Oklahoma.

I purchased my truck in Aurora CO, not far from where I grew up. Ironically it was originally sold at Jerry Roth Chevrolet on Colfax in Lakewood CO, less than 5 miles from where I now live. Although it hasn't gone all that far in it's 50 years it was cool to realize it have come back full circle. Where Roth was is now a up scale Porche Audi VW dealer.
