Thank you guys very much!!! I am finally seeing the hard work paying off. After I'm done I plan on spending more time checking out everyone else's rides on this forum. There are a lot of neat trucks on here I haven't even seen.

I really like the larger fenders from the bigger trucks on your truck. Your truck looks very good.

I agree, the large fenders and shorter hood height look really nice. However, it was not easy to line the front end up and even still I need to work on the hood gap.

Thank you and I hope to make more progress this weekend.

Great looking ride. Here is a pic of my 51. I'd like to put a big block in it. Do you have any additional info on how you squeezed the 454 in between the fenders?

Re: PROJECT: 1950 Chevy 3/4T 4x4... new member

I bought the truck already swapped over. It appears to me that nothing has been hacked up on the front clip, however it is the 1.5T front clip so it moves the radiator an inch or so forward. I doubt the 1.5T inner fenderwells are wider allowing more engine bay room than regular 1/2T-3/4T inner fender wells. My guess is the 454 will sit in fairly easy. The headers are Heddman (sp?) 67-72 4x4 BBC headers in case you are wondering.

All the glass is in, made the running boards last week. This week the running boards and rear bumper will be painted. After that it's wiring time!!

Mr-Jack.... PM sent

Dieselwrencher.... thank you very much, it has been a rewarding build! I had a few people stop and look at it when I was loading it on the trailer. All the old timers love it.

Re: PROJECT: 1950 Chevy 3/4T 4x4... new member

Got majority of the chassis/engine wiring in just need to dress it up a bit then install the gauges and tail lights.

Here's a quick video don't mind the filthiness and I was suppose to get the running boards yesterday but they didn't get them painted. Definitely making progress but as always still a lot to do.

Awesome man! She sounds sweet too! What did you use for head lights? They look pretty bright in the vid.

Thank you! It is Ford Kona Blue. Its on the 2011-2012 mustangs and edges. I chose it over chevy indigo blue because it still looks blue at night and not black.
