Looking pretty straight! Hope the blocking goes well and this coat of high build is all you need.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

So far so good. I have started wet blocking. Doing 220, 320, 400. Coming out pretty nice so far! I got most of the driver side done yesterday. Today I'll finish the driver side and hopefully get the hood done too.

I'm using feather fill for my high build and it goes on nice and thick!

Sweet! Looking into the reflection it looks as slick as if you'd already done a cut-n-buff. That turned out great - congrats!

Wow, you got after it! Looks real good from here. What kind of mask did you use, and did it work out for you with the fumes?

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

I used whatever the 3m one was at Lowe's. I researched it first to make sure it would work for this type of thing. With it on you can smell anything. I about died when I was done and took it off and smelled the air for the first time after the clear! I put it back on to clean up!

Thanks by the way! It has some flaws. Few runs in the clear but nothing too bad. If it wasn't for the dust in it I would just fix the runs, re clear that one fender and be done. But I think a cut and buff will have me satisfied.

Re: 1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

that turned out great, top shelf work for your first paint job! i can't wait to see some full sunlight pictures.

you'll be amazed how much different it will look after a cut and buff also.
