Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Just realized how long it's been since getting to my truck and this thread...

Truck time has been at a serious standstill due to numerous reasons…

Rian and Martin showed up on the 15th as planned, a quick visit, but worthwhile nonetheless… after a visit to the studio… I was able to introduce our visitors to Catfish and Hushpuppies…

Friday evening we left just before dark on our trek to Clem's get-together…
Pics to follow in another update...

We arrived at Clem's around 10pm and joined the group around the fire pit that included Chad64Chevy, Bomp, McMurphy, Clem and his guys….
We then loaded up, we being Rian, Martin, Greg "Bomp" and myself and took the short drive to Clem's home… Thanks again for the AWESOME Hospitality…

The following morning, we made our way to breakfast before our Amazing Junkyard run…

Thanks for the reply… This past weekend Clem was asking what happened with you. I explained about the businesses you are involved in and he wanted me to let you know he is still thinking about that camper…

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Clem's Get-together was an amazing experience this year… Not only did I get to attend, I was able to drive up Friday evening with Rian and Martin, meet up with Clem, Chad, Bomp & McMurphy around the fire pit, as well as two of Clem's truck gurus... That was followed by breakfast and a cool junkyard run… then it was on to the Garage and Get-together…

Sorry I couldn't chat a bit more. Thanks for calling me when I was at Atlanta waiting to board the jet. They were literally pointing at me, like you going or not??

If you get a shot at building a "peg leg" and want some tips, give me a call Brother. I'll talk you through it all the way, even pirate talk if needed. Arrrgh,
I kept mine for the longest time but it ended up taking that last lonely trip to the scrap yard. Think I netted a whole .04

Sorry to hear about the leg Bro. Stay off it as much as possible and let it heal.
