Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
well there is one lucky new owner of my 66 c10. I sold it on EBAY today and I was very surprised to see the attention it received, as well as the offers for the truck after the auction ended . The one for $1800 over asking was interesting but I needed to honor my deal with the last bidder. he's going to love this truck and hopfully i can turn him on to our fourm here. Tony

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Hey fella's! I just picked up this 63 LB. it runs and drives. Some rust in the bed, but the cab seems solid. Going to fix some safety things (lights, brakes, etc...) then drive it as often as I can!

Nice I like the plain jane look. Im going to go with the same look on my grandpas truck. I'm going to paint my wheels gloss black and already scored some nice baby moons on ebay.

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Man, I wish all these had some stats on the amount of drop and tire sizes> I am eventually going to have a 3/4 drop and need to get some 16" tires in the next few weeks, and want to get some tires that fit well with that drop with no rubbing issues. Gonna keep it a 3/4 ton, 8 lug just to be different. Anyone have some idea of what will work? Right now, leaning toward a 245/75/16 or 225/70/16 LT tire.

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds
Hey Folks, New to the Forum.. Picked up Betsy (64 LB SS )a couple weeks back and have started a few minor projects on her, so far I've managed to scratch the fenders and break the heads off of the thermostat housing bolts.. So this project is following my standard Murphy's Law Theory..
Couldnt get the photos to link up ( yes I will read the photo thread next ) so here is the link to my dropbox folder with the photos. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hkq7qkhtp8c7ds3/kbfJVdmEtu I think i have a great starting point, paid more than i wanted to, but really like the truck!! Wow 64lbss what a stroke of luck. Sorry to hear that.
Your pics didn't show up either. You can try photobucket, tinypic, or windypix.com and get them loaded pretty easy.

The first ones were better. The attached images scroll off the screen and look wonky in the second.
that's a pretty truck though. Very nice!

Great looking truck man. There is just something about the LWB Stepsides that I just love. Have fun with it and I hope to see your updates.
