The dark truck is another good example of 'Old School' Hotrod Rake:

I hope 2" do the job.. I ordered the cpp lowering blocks.. If I'm still not happy then I'll give it a minor c-notch and maybe a simple airbag set up.. But my priority is a big window conversion..

Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?

My stance used to be level and I just didn't care for it. I was going to raise the back up an inch but after I dropped the Big Block in it lowered the front an inch.

Cool Re: Best "Rake/Stance" for a Hot Rodded 60-66 C10?

I love posting pics... Not a lot of rake but just enough. The stance for me anyway is just right being a daily. I'm in love with the 60s. Thanks for having me guys. Nice trucks too!

That looks awesome. Is it level or is there a slight rake?

I would like my truck level (and low) but don't want to airbag the suspension. I am still looking into what suspension is going under my truck so I know that makes it harder. I know I want a dropped front crossmember.

I like the way it sits. Fat tires could go on diet and gain a few inches.
The picture above will give you idea of drop. Here is mine on the jack framed out. The pipe notch will give an added 2"s, just cut a little of the inner tub flange to clear tires.

Still working on front. Torsions cranked no bump-stops waiting on $$$ to finish Porterbuilt crossmember.
