Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
Figured since I'm starting with a new K/5, I'd start a new thread, continued on from here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=341556&page=4
The premise is the same...building a hot-rod that I can take the family along with...comfortably. But now, instead of being proactive and planning ahead for a kid.....she's already here, and getting big!! Not to mention she loves hot rods already. So enough about her (for now) on to the truck(s)! The plan is to steal the turbo LSx drivetrain out of my 11 second 69 LWB and stick it into the Blazer, along with the 2wd air ride suspension. I've moved on to a Blazer with far less rust, and that is far more complete than what I was working on before. Found it out in Montana, and my buddy Andy (Lopemaxx) lives nearby and offered to check it out and pick it up for me.
