TR65 I like your truck. What color is that? Looks kinda like a Dove Gray. Very nice.

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Here is a before and after of my '66 Chevy K20. It has a factory 292 and granny low, 4-speed. Although it doesn't look like much it is a sweet ride for a beater. It gets lots of comments when I drive it around town.

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Thanks bowties,
The original color of the truck is Fawn. I was trying to match that. In fact it is a little bit grayer than the original. I actually like it better but I don't know the formula. TR65

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
296Moon, is that a wheel-lift wrecker? Looks like the center bars can be taken out for large vehicles, and left in for smaller? Hydraulic lift?

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Hey guys, great trucks.* Heres my new ride..........I've made a horrible mistake
* Oh Well, shes mine now and I'm sure I'll think of something. The lower half is so rusted that I dont think I can "restore" it but I got welder yesterday and when Im done practicing Ill take a look at the cab. It runs but the brakes and suspension are toast so I"ll lower it a little now and fix the brakes. |

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Thanks 19GMC63. It started with a standard 4/6 drop but the front end was too high so I chopped 1 coil out of the front springs. I then had to replace the front shocks too - rides great.

Interesting wheels. What are they?
