Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
sidthirteen how much did you drop your truck? And did you use the springs or converted the front end? Thanks and good looking truck. I want to drop mine just using the springs, but don't want it to end up uneven...

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
Wow a GMC grille in that condition can bring almost that much money. And the window trim is an extra bonus! Great score.

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
If I convert my 65 to a fleetside, that's real close to the stance I want.

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
My 100 yarder... solid, but previous owner liked to change color every spring... I stripped plum to metal and white primered it back... I think I'll keep it that way and let it patina.

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
I just got it a few days ago. Since the mockup pic I have put an Eldebrock 500cfm 1404 carb on it. It has all Clifford performance parts including cam. Also set up with a T5 tranny with somewhere around 3:73 rear running 22oo rpm's @ 66 mph according to my gps.

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
It runs fine no hiccupps. I haven't had much running on it as it had a massive header leak so I'm waiting on gaskets as we speak. I hate the air filter and that was just a mockup photo. I'm hoping to get the wife to LET ME buy an oblong black and silver Edelbrock air filter to match the vale cover. Can hear it now."Babe I need an air filter for the rat" HER "OK HOW MUCH" me "160 bucs" HER " I THINK THE RAT SHOULD EAT POISON" me " BUT BUT BABE PLEASE" lol

Ill bite, the Pontiac was my first car, done in Rustoleum Flat Black, the Chevy was done in Rustoleum Satin Colonial Red. Both of them were rattle-canned.

Re: Pics of trucks in Primer Paint
Here is mine the one with the black bumper and grill was first the i added the chrome bumpers and painted the grill cast coat aluminum. Then i did the disc brake upgrade and a 12 bolt rear end swap. Now its 5 lug... i miss the older wheels!! Its all tinted primer and john deere flat black.
